Red chilli is found in almost every household kitchen and is used
in food and cuisine. Red chilli is a good source of minerals such
as copper, magnesium, aryl, manganese and potassium. Vitamin
B, vitamin C, vitamin E and vitamin K. are also found in it. Red
chili is spicy flavored and contains high amounts of vitamin C and
carotene. It is pungent in taste. It is used in raw, dry and
powdered forms. Dark red chillies contain high amounts of pro-
vitamins A and beta carotene. Consuming red chili daily provides
around 6 percent vitamin C. Red pepper is very beneficial in
destroying stomach bacteria. It is also very helpful in reducing the
symptoms of stomach ulcers.
